How the Referral Program Works
The IM Dojo Club Referral Program pays you commissions for making sales of products from this website.
1. Sign up for the program using the button on this page. It's free to join, and no purchase is required.
2. Once you're approved, go to your Referral Program Center to get your referral links.
3. Send traffic to your links.
4. When someone buys through your link, you get a commission. You also get a commission on all their future purchases from this website, including subscriptions.
5. This program is only for products from theimdojo.com. To promote our other websites, see their individual referral / affiliate programs.
6. We have to approve you manually, so give us time to look at your application and approve you. Please don't apply again before hearing from us. That will not speed up the process.
How Your Referral Sales Are Tracked
We use Thinkific's built-in tracking system. Here's how it works.
1. The first time a new customer / prospect visits our site, a cookie is placed on their computer.
2. When the person creates an account with us by making a purchase or signing up for a free course or other lead magnet- if they went through your referral link, you are permanently listed as their referrer in our database.
3. Once a customer is linked to you in our database, you get credit for all their future purchases from this site, no matter how far in the future... even if they purchase using a different device, as long as they use the same email address. Our system encourages customers to use the same email address, so everything they get from us is in the same account.
4. Once a customer is associated with a referrer, if they return to the website and make another purchase, the original referrer gets credit. So if the customer was already paired with another referrer, you don't get credit, even if they go through your link. And if they are associated with you, then go through someone else's referral link, you still get credit.
5. For subscriptions (such as The IM Dojo Club) and payment plans, you get a commission on every payment the customer makes.
6. You get the same percentage on every sale, regardless of the price and whether it's a one-time purchase or subscription.

How and When You Get Paid
We pay commissions monthly, delayed by one month to account for refunds. You can see your stats such as commissions owed to you and paid to you n your Referral Program Center.
1. For example, commissions for sales made in March will be paid in early May.
2. Your commission rate starts at 40%. Once you've made 10 sales, we will bump you up to 50% for future sales. The 10 sales can be sales of any paid products, regardless of price. A subscription or payment plan counts as one sale regardless of how many payments the customer makes. There is no time limit on making the 10 sales.
3. If someone gets a free course or other free product through your referral link, and they are a new customer, you get associated with them in the database and get credit for their future purchases. However this does not count as a sale that helps you earn a higher commission percentage.
4. We can pay commissions to you as an individual or to a business entity such as a corporation or LLC. It's your choice. Consult with an accountant or tax advisor about the best entity for your business, since we cannot advise you on this subject.
5. We may ask for your tax ID where we are required to report how much we paid you. We don't ask for tax IDs during the application process.
Promoting Our Products
You must use only legal and ethical methods of promotion.
1. Email promos must be sent to your own opt-in list. You are responsible for following all applicable laws regulating email marketing. No spamming.
2. You may not promote our products in online forums, Facebook groups, and other communities UNLESS they specifically allow such promos. (Many do not.)
3. Negative advertising, using words like scam or ripoff, is not allowed. It tarnishes our reputation.
4. You may not promote our products via commenting on blogs or filling in contact forms on websites.
5. You may not misrepresent our products in your promotions. This includes false or misleading statements, any type of income claim, promising the customer will achieve specific results, "get rich" type claims, etc.
6. Your promotions must include any legally required affiliate disclosures.
Failure to follow the rules will result in removal from the referral program and withholding of commissions.
Referral Program Agreement
By signing up for and participating in the Referral Program, you agree to follow the rules of the program as stated here and in other communications from us, including emails.
The rules will expand and evolve over time. You should review them on a regular basis as this page is updated.

How do I get started?
1. Read this entire page to learn how our Referral Program works.
2. Click the button near the top to apply. It's free, and we ask a few basic questions.
3. Wait for us to approve you. We have to review your application, then manually mark you as an affiliate in the database. There is no automated way to do this. We will email you to let you know if you're approved and let you know the next steps.
4. We will be adding training and resources for affiliates to this site.
What's the difference between the Referral Program and an affiliate program?
None, really. Referral program is just another way of saying affiliate program. Some companies use words like associate (Amazon), advocate, or ambassador.
In all cases, you can earn commissions by referring customers to purchase products and services from other companies.
How much can I make?
We start new affiliates at a commission rate of 40%. That rate applies to all products on this site- individual courses, bundles, and memberships.
Once you've made a total of 10 sales, we will bump your rate to 50% on future sales. Those 10 sales can be any paid products from this site, regardless of price. You don't have to sell 10 copies of one product to qualify. There is no time limit to make the 10 sales, but the faster you make them, the faster you will get the commission rate increase.
Note that many programs from other companies pay 40% or less on subscriptions, yet we pay a full 50% once you qualify.
Refunded sales are subtracted when determining whether you've made 10 sales. So 10 sales with one refund counts as 9 sales.
The commission bump is not retroactive. It takes effect on future sales only. For example, if you make 15 sales your first day, the rate increase will not apply to those last 5 sales.
For memberships and payment plans, you get a commission on every payment the customer makes. So if someone joins The IM Dojo Club through you and stays for two years, you will earn commissions for all 24 months they stay with us,

Can I buy through my own referral link?
The purpose of the Referral Program is to reward you for sending us new customers, not for getting discounts on your own purchases.
You can buy through your own link, but you won't get a commission on that purchase. If you're reading this, you already have an account on our site, so you are associated with the affiliate who first referred you to us, if any.
Do you credit the first affiliate or the last?
The Referral Program credits the affiliate who first sends us a specific customer. When the customer creates an account with us, the affiliate is linked to them in our database and gets credit for all future purchases made by that customer.
If someone follows your referral link, and that customer is already connected to another affiliate, you will not get credit for that sale.
That means you are protected from other affiliates sending their link to customers who are already linked to you. You will get credit for those sales no matter whose link the customer uses, if you are already associated with that customer.
